Pie Carrier tote! Welcome June! I can’t believe that half a year has passed already!
Summer is slowly coming and today I want to share that pie carrier tote,it’s a great zerowaste tool in order to avoid disposable bags or aluminum foil, and perfect for picnics! And it’s cute 🥰.
So easy to sew, just two pieces of fabric and two straps as handles:
Pin the straps to the short edges of the rectangle towards the inside. Now place the second large rectangle on top, right side down. Pin around all edges.Stitch the two rectangles together leaving a small opening (is like sewing a cushion, you’ll turn the fabric inside out there). Now fold the two short sides towards the center. Sew a seam around the new rectangle and the bag will be finished!
No Need a complicated pattern here, just cut two straps 15×5 cm and two rectangles 80x45cm and that’s it! So easy 🙌.
Having a slow waste lifestyle isn’t really hard, we have removed almost all kind of disposable times at home and it’s easier and actually handier for us that way.
Hope you liked it! Have a great new month ☺️Sara xx
